I can drag-drop files from host to guest but from guest to host isn't working. Clipboard is working properly. Complete removal of virtual box from the host and reinstall didn't help. Remove client software 6. Tips are welcome File drag-drop works perfect. Thanks for the quick fix!

Support for Service Pack issues is free. What phone number do I call to get this free support? I tried the online chat and support but it told me I would have to pay.
If you click on Start then Help and support will it start? The service will not start. I don't see how it's connected. BUT if it was that would be interesting. SP3 Support from Microsoft. You may have to add a registry entry to re-enable this functionality.
I just upgraded to SP3 and found using "Process Monitor" that an Internet zone policy was being checked in the registry that doesn't exist. Hope this helps. I stumbled across this page this morning, and when I got home I saw this last post. Confirmed fix. Yep that did it for me! It will only apply to that user.

After nearly two months of reading posts, doing regedits and getting to the point of wiping the disc clean and reinstalling the operating system this fixed the problem. In my case drag and drop did not work only in Windows Explorer.
